Facilitated sessions that score inherent and control risk by account assertion so residual risk is visible before sampling starts.
Purpose
When finance, internal audit, and the external partner use different words for the same risk, planning stalls. These workshops force a shared score for inherent risk, control reliance, and residual risk on each material assertion.
Included
- Pre-read of your chart of accounts and prior risk notes
- Two facilitated workshops (typically half-day each)
- Scored matrices for agreed cycles
- A one-page residual risk summary for the committee
Excluded
We do not redesign your control framework or write new policies. Scoring reflects the controls you already operate.
Process
After a short intake call, we issue a scoring rubric tailored to your industry. Workshops then move cycle by cycle. Disagreements are recorded, not papered over — the residual risk column shows where judgment remains.
