Refund & cancellation policy
Refund eligibility, deposits, rescheduling, and cancellations for Autodeploytools professional engagements.
Scope
This policy applies to professional engagements with Autodeploytools — audit planning, risk scoring workshops, and interim audit support — booked under an engagement letter. It does not cover products we do not sell, software licences, or physical goods.
Deposit
Fixed-fee engagements require a 30% deposit to reserve the kick-off week. The deposit is credited toward the total fee.
Full refund eligibility
A full refund of amounts paid is available if:
- Autodeploytools cancels the engagement for reasons within our control before kick-off, or
- You cancel in writing more than 14 days before the agreed kick-off date and no substantial preparatory work (document review beyond a cursory intake check) has begun
Partial refund
If you cancel between 7 and 14 days before kick-off, we may retain up to 50% of the deposit to cover scheduling and intake already performed, and refund the remainder of amounts paid that exceed work completed.
Cancellations within 7 days of kick-off, or after workshops have started, are generally non-refundable for the deposit. Fees for work already delivered (completed workshops, issued matrices, or interim days worked) remain payable.
Non-refundable items
- Completed workshop days and delivered planning packs
- Third-party room hire or specialist costs approved by you in writing
- Time already incurred on document remediation when you requested it after intake
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once without fee if you give at least 10 days’ notice and an alternative slot exists within 60 days. Further reschedules may incur a rescheduling charge of up to 10% of the engagement fee.
No-shows
If key client attendees miss agreed workshops without 48 hours’ notice, that session is treated as delivered for billing purposes. We will offer one make-up slot subject to diary availability.
Work already started
Once scoring sessions or plan drafting have begun, refunds are limited to unused future components of the fee, calculated by Autodeploytools in good faith against the engagement letter milestones.
Refund process and timing
Email refund requests to info@autodeploytools.digital with your engagement reference and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.
Method
Refunds are paid in Hong Kong dollars to the original payer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
